My name is Tiana Connor (also known as Tiana Cheye) and I am a Baltimore based artist, graphic designer, and marketer. I am a current graduate student in the Graphic Design MA program at the Maryland Institute College of Art and I have received my bachelor’s in Art and Communication with a minor in Marketing at McDaniel College. I have worked as a designer for 5 years, both in-house and freelance, and have an affinity for research-based design and visual communication. I have a particular focus and passion for designing for the science and medical fields. Currently, I perform graphic design and marketing work for a German biotech company called GERSTEL, Inc. based in Baltimore. I have also performed graphic design, social media management, and event planning services for various organizations, such as Phi Alpha Mu Sorority.
 

I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, predominantly with Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Premier Pro, and Lightroom. I also am skilled in the use of Canva, Wix, Wordpress, Procreate, and Invision. I am knowledgeable in information design and branding. Aside from graphic design skills, I am also experienced in digital photography, illustration, marketing, copywriting, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), event planning, and social media management. 
 

I believe life is an ongoing pursuit of knowledge and anything I do not currently know I make it my job to learn. I am very passionate about what I do and I appreciate hard work and clear, concise communication with all of my clients. . Currently I am open to remote freelance work and commissions. For work that requires me to be on-sight, I am able to do so in the DMV and Southern Pennsylvania areas.
